Grooming for difficult dogs with confident, gentle and FIRM handling

Tiffany can groom extremely difficult dogs under 30 lbs. Sometimes they just magically behave for Tiffany the dog whisperer. Tiffany has a calm, confident, unafraid demeanor and dogs sense it and behave better for her. Tiffany uses mulitpple behavior modification tricks to help dogs behave better and she can use a muzzle or e-collar if needed to prevent getting bitten. She specializes in difficult, elderly, medical fragile, anxious dogs that others won't touch. Other groomers and vets refer dogs to her!  Sometimes they behave better at home with mommy or daddy there to help hold and comfort them if it helps. There may be snappiing, struggling, whining or crying - I don't mind, I will get the job done. It may not be pretty but I know even bad dogs need to be groomed. Tiffany is not afraid can groom the worst of the worst. Because dogs sense that Tiffany is calm and confident and unafraid they behave calmly too. Confident grooming of a biting dog can not easily be taught or learned. Most groomers become fearful as soon as a dog snarls or snaps at them and then the dog senses their fear and behaves even worse. Dogs also get defensive when put in and taken out of the waiting kennels at a salon and they may snap when groomers reach in to get them out - defensively. If your dog is getting kicked out of salons and told to be sedated at vet for grooming give me a try first. I ame used to impossible behavior and I have seen it all, trust me!    Tiffany can usually teach your pet to behave better for future grooms so it is less stressful  and safer for them - wiggly pets are more likely to be injured by scissors and clippers. Learn how you can help make your pet a better client for the groomer, teach your dog to love grooming!.

We do not mind if you give your pet medication prescribed by the vet to relax him. You can even help comfort them while we groom. A wiggly pet is more likely to be injured at the grooming salon so we do everything we can to keep them calm and still. When they get groomed at home mom or dad is there to help hold them still or even sternly tell them to behave if needed. It will be a safer, less stressful experience for them.  Often just being groomed at home instead of taken to the salon reduces anxiety enough to help a pet behave better.


If you know your dog might try to bite please warn me ahead of time for my safety so I can take recautionary measures from the start of the groom.

You can stand close and help soothe and comfort your pet while we groom, we don't mind!

People tell me I am weird because I like to groom difficult pets.
I don't know what to say to that except...Yep, I guess I am weird.  :-)

I love the challenge. I love working with the dog.
I love trying to figure out what it is that bothers the dog.
I love finding ways to work with the dog.
I love showing the dog that grooming can be a pleasant thing.
I love giving the dog a chance.

I am proud to say that I rarely have to turn a dog away.
Some of my most difficult dogs have turned into wonderful grooms.
Some have always stayed biters, but rarely try bite me anymore because I respect them and they know that I will not hurt them.
