about the owner
Tiffany Cady is an outgoing and friendly person. She loves the job of visiting, caring for and grooming many unique and interesting pets daily. Tiffany is a kind and gentle pet handler who doesn't mind getting dirty and loves all types of creatures great and small. Aggressive and big dogs, parrots, reptiles and shy cats are her specialty. Tiffany has a natural talent and intuitiveness for grooming very shy, fearful, difficult cats and dogs. Pets just seem to be calmer when Tiffany is grooming them- especially when it is done right in their own home. Learn more about grooming in home for fearful or aggressive pets.
Tiffany has one very spoiled but well trained Golden Retriever, Thibodeaux, who was rescued running the streets of Mississippi/LA a few weeks after hurricane Katrina. "Thibs" is very friendly to other dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes and he loves having dogs stay with us for our in home boarding service. Tiffany has owned several dogs since she was 10. At 13 she began showing her Brittany Spaniel in the conformation show ring. Tiffany trained, groomed and showed " L'il Texas Lady " herself until Lady became a Champion. Tiffany has owned cats for much of her life too and currently has one Long Haired Grey cat named Toby. Tiffany also has a young daughter who is respective of animals and does not "pester" client pets. Leah wants to be a pet sitter when she grows up so she occasionally accompanies Tiffany on visits. Tiffany has owned Lovebirds, Cockatiels, Sun Conures and a Goffins Cockatoo as well as many fresh water fish including cichlids to gouramis. As a child Tiffany's brother was a snake and iguana lover so she also has experience caring for a variety of reptiles including snakes, turtles and geckos. She is past President of the Houston Dog Park Association from 2009 to 2012. Tiffany was the Vice President of HDPA in 2008 and has been an active member/volunteer since 2002 as the web designer and community liaison. The Houston Dog Park Assoc. is a 501c3 non-profit staffed by volunteers. As President of HDPA Tiffany carried out the founders' vision to develop more dog parks in Houston and she has added additional objectives for HDPA to support Houston's existing dog parks and teach the community about responsible pet ownership. Tiffany was personally committed to seeing a dog park constructed in far Northwest Houston and is happy to report the success of this goal with the dog park at Meyers Park on Cypresswood Dr. Tiffany is passionate about raising public awareness for responsible dog ownership. Tiffany believes the benefits that dog parks offer can help the Houstonians raise happy, healthy well adjusted dogs (and humans!). She is also striving to provide support to animal welfare organizations that support responsible pet ownership initiatives such as abandoned pet adoption, humane treatment, and spay/neuter by clipping nails, making snow cones, and face painting at fundraising events and then donating 100% of the proceeds to the rescue host. Tiffany often partners with Friends of BARC, Dream Dachshund Rescue, or Golden Beginnings Rescue at yearly events such as the Reliant Dog Show, Doggy Party on the Plaza and Pet Fest Old Town Spring. Come out for your $5 nail trim to support a great cause! Tiffany is also happy to speak to audiences in an effort to educate the community about the dangers of buying puppies from "backyard breeders", roadsides or flea markets, and the importance of spay/neuter pets to reduce pet overpopulation and euthanasia of healthy homeless pets at shelters by the thousands monthly- and that is in Houston alone! Tiffany is an active Rotarian and held the position of Secretary and President Nominee for the year 2014 in the Rotary Club of Houston NW Sunset. Tiffany is now a member of the Houston E-Club. She has been active on the Matzke Elementary School PTO Board of Directors as VP in charge of Spirit Shop.Tiffany has also served as a consultant for the City of Houston at BARC animal shelter. In charge of overseeing Volunteer Management Tiffany implemented new processes and procedures to make volunteering at BARC easy and fun by taking the volunteer process online and implementing volunteer shift scheduling processes. Tiffany still volunteers at BARC walking dogs and cleaning cat cages when time permits. In previous years Tiffany has volunteered feeding baby birds at the Texas Wildlife Rehab Commission in the baby bird feeding program. Tiffany left her career as a Marketing Manager in Graphic and Web Design in 2010 to begin her own business "Angel Pets"- a Northwest Houston Pet Sitting, Mobile Grooming, Training and Dog Walking business. Tiffany also owns the business Earadicator.com and Pet-Travel-Agent.com which provides Pet Transport services around the world. Tiffany is a fantastic woman with a fantastic business. She really cares about the animals -- ALL animals, and she has a special affinity for those she works closely with. For example, my dog hates having his nails trimmed. Tiffany had them all done in less than a minute. She has a way with dogs that you don't come across too often. She specializes in those hard-to-deal-with pets, and it's just amazing to watch. No one else will trim my dog's nails now! Ever! |
Tiffany loves all animals, but especially Golden Retrievers!
